Hi World,

I was trying to upload a video but my stupid laptop won’t let me, (guess its time for an upgrade). My name is Chanda and guess I am your typical down to earth girl or nerd I like both terms that are used to describe me.  I really embrace my nerdy side because there is nothing wrong with being a nerd, NERD POWER!!!

I love to read and read I am a lover of books, from sci-fi, romance, historical romance, novels, comics and so on. If its good then most likely my eyes have read the book. Reading is a passion of mine, I love to loose myself in the book and just imagine what the author was trying to portray in the book. I feel like books can take you places where no one truly can.  I am going to admit I own an Ipad and it has the kindle app I am a digital reader but I still go to the library at least once a week there is something about holding that book in your hand and smelling the ink (I love a new book).

I am also a big movie goer I love going to the movies but only on Thursdays(way cheaper and I get a student discount whoo-hoo). As of right now i have been to the movies six’s weeks in a row. All the movies were pretty good and graphics awesome in some(Thor, Catching fire). My mom yells at me saying I go way to much to the movies to see crap when I can rent it from blockbuster (moms deff stuck in the 90’s b/c blockbuster has no open stores by me, poor mom). There is something about going to the movies, with the smell of popcorn and being around other people who also share the same interests are pretty cool.

I love to travel and see things.  I have traveled to Boston, Rhode Island, Washington, Florida and my best trip ever is coming up in one month I am going international to Ghana which is in Africa I am so excited to be going there for two weeks and to see another culture and how it truly lives. Hopefully I can put some stamps in this passport of mine over the next couple of years. Being a college student sucks because most of my money goes toward paying my tuition off but when I have money I love to visit another state and just to see how people and experience things. I guess I have wanderlust.

The series I am currently reading is call the LUX Series by Jennifer L. Amentrout. I know its young adult book, but the author is really good. This book is paranormal and science fiction with some romance (ohh yeaaa).  I will be blogging about the books when I am done reading the series.
